I still shiver when I think of that disgusting place. I should've realized something was not right when there was no reception, or even a sign board explaining where the place was. Some filthy looking guy started shouting at me that be had been waiting an hour for me. It probably had taken me as long to find the place. I was shown a disgusting dark room that smelled like an ashtray mixed with rat pee. I refused and told him I wanted my money back. He called his boss Kareem, who was a charming man but turned out to be a threatening liar by threatening to reverse the refund of the room if I wrote a poor review. He showed me another room which was much cleaner but as the day wore on, stank just as much and none of the televisions worked. The door would not lock so all my belongings were at risk. Kareem cancelled a booking.com reservation, and then charged me through his own company called Al Diuf tours. Beware! After taking the full amount, he then wanted a tourist tax, credit card charge, get etc etch. It was new years eve, 6pm, and for the inconvenience of searching for a room, I went ahead. Honestly, I have stayed in RM15 backpackers cleaner than the RM750 a night charge that he charged me. Never ever go there!

We booked 2 rooms for our family trip to KL. Check in is unbelievably complicated. It seems these suites are "privately owned" and we had to walk into the adjoining shopping centre to find the agent who "manages" the rooms. After finally finding this person, we were taken to our rooms on 17th floor. The first room was disgustingly grubby and badly maintained. There was thick mould in the bathroom which was a health hazard, the bathroom ceiling was sagging, mould and peeling wallpaper everywhere. We refused to take the room and we were then led to 2 other rooms on the 19th floor. Again, badly maintained, unclean room. The second room had not been cleaned from the previous occupant, it was disgusting with an toilet that had not been flushed and was complete with a full load of faeces!!! The guy checking us in then organised the cleaners to come back and clean the room again. In the meantime he found another room on the 17th floor which was approaching some sort of acceptable standard, but there was only one of them! This room had a rollaway bed for the 10 year old. While we were shown the room, the bed was actually broken, so our guy put the mattress on the floor and said that they did not have any more rollaway beds! To cut a long story short, after 4 hours and viewing 5 rooms we left and went to different hotel. Will send photos later. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, IT HAS GREAT VIEWS....BUT!!

Check in process is confusing as no actual reception but the security guard was happy to call the agent. Agent advised me the price I paid was an error and the booking should have been cancelled, but as we were there and it was not his or our error be would honour the booking. The room class I booked was not available and we were updated to a 2 bedroom suite for the first night and then moved to our superior room for the remaining 3 nights. Room was clean but in near of some overall general maintenance. Everything worked though, just needed a general fresh coat of paint, replacement of some screws etc. I have stayed in similar apartments in the past and the main reason I choose them is their location. Huge shopping centre on the bottom 7 floors open till 10pm every night. EVERYTHING you need in one spot. Many restaurants, bowling alley, theme park, archery centre, movie theatre and of course lots and lots of shopping. Monorail at the front door. Overall, I would stay at Best Suites again if the price was right.

On my previous review forgot to mention the apartments name. Don't use Hotels.Com. For best apartments berjaya times square you have to pay by cash. Hit or miss if you get toilet paper or the two bottles of water.
